This Years Cake Competition

I really want to win the Cake Competition this year

I’m going to make the biggest cake ever

I’m going to cover it with pink icing

And make flowers out of sugar

I’m going to put strawberry jam in the middle

And sprinkle sugar strands on the top

It will make the judges taste buds tingle

They will have to give me first prize

Last year I came nowhere

Even though my cake looked the best

Judges note said ‘Sponge: Strange Texture’

(That was because I accidently put egg shells in the mixer instead of the compost bin)

(This was the cake that my daughter made for my birthday, perfect texture. Unlike her mothers cakes)
